Scarves

Hello fellow beginning knitter!  I just wanted to share a few of my recent projects with you.  Feedback always welcome.

Obligatory Scarf

I made this scarf using a pattern I found on Ravelry called the ‘Obligatory Scarf.’  It was knitting using 1 hank of Plymouth Yarn’s Kudo, color #49 (Green, Teal, Brown).  Unfortunately, my cell phone camera did not show the true colors!  The yarn is great.

I also made the following scarf using a hank of Plymouth Yarn’s Kudo, except this was done in color #57 (Hot Pink, Yellow, Blue).

I didn’t use a pattern for this scarf, but this is how I did it.
Cast on an odd number of stitches as needed to make the scarf as wide as you would like it.
Knit 2 rows.
Row 1: * K1, yo, K1,* repeat to end of row.
Row 2:  Knit to end of row
Row 3: Knit to end of row
Repeat rows 1, 2, and 3 until the scarf is the desired length.
Bind off loosely.
Cut lengths of yarn as desired to tie on to both ends of the scarf for the fringe.

I hope that you like the scarves.  Let me know if you end up making one too!
